The things we do to our kids! I signed Carlee and I up for "Mommy and Me Ballet." I'm so excited! I couldn't wait until she was old enough for dance or sports. Imagine my excitement when I saw a dance class that was offered through the city for 18-35 month olds!!! Although Carlee's not even 17 months, there's a class that starts in May and she'll be 18 months and 5 days when class starts. This should be very interesting. I called the dance studio to get more info and to find out what the moms would be doing since I haven't done any ballet since I was 4. Luckily I won't be forced to demonstrate a plier (the French word not the tool) or anything. The dance studio said the kids will learn to point their toes, flex their feet, stand on their tip toes, do something with their hands (forgot what she said), and even do little leaps. What? LEAPS!? My little toddler is going to do a leap! I don't know about that one, but we shall see. I just hope she's not that kid in class. You know...the one who is a disturbance and doesn't pay attention. Hopefully her and I will both have fun. And if nothing else, I got to dress her up in a cute little ballet outfit!

Oh My God... she is too cute in that outfit. Don't feel bad. I totally feel you on the perks being the outfits, I only put Emma in Ice skating so I could get her the outfit.

OMG - that tu tu is so freaking cute! She is the perfect ballerina! Ash and I are doing mommy and me "gymnastics" very interesting with a 19mos old...
